The PuTTY-dedi.jpg image shows you the necessary configuration for a dedicated server while PuTTY-shared.jpg shows the needed configuration for a Linux shared/reseller hosting account.
Please note that on a Dedicated server, the default port is 22 but on a shared server, the port is 2222.
For shared accounts, you will want to use your cPanel username and password, however for dedicated servers, you can either use your user account's username and password or the username "root" and root password for server administration.
