Reason for Changes:
The aforementioned changes are meant to dramatically improve security on our shared server fleet, and protect against potential compromise.

Disabling TLS: Older TLS connections will no longer be allowed on our shared fleet. This means that connections on older, end-of-life operating systems and mail clients, such as Windows 7 and Outlook 2012 will no longer function. All mail clients will require TLS v1.2 or newer to be able to connect. Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, and later versions of Windows natively support TLS 1.2 for client-server communications over WinHTTP.

Enabling 2FA for WHM API: By default, when cPanel has 2FA is enabled, it does not require 2FA for WHM API calls. This will be a requirement moving forward.

We understand the importance of keeping your sites and services online, and our the team is taking necessary preparatory steps to mitigate service interruptions and ensure our clients are ready for this change. In order to prevent any service interruption when this change takes effect, you will need to ensure that you follow both of the aforementioned guides, and that your accounts/computers are prepared for the changes. Given the nature of these changes, our technical support team will NOT be able to provide assistance due to the fact that the changes would need to be made locally on your personal devices.
