--Here is the announcement from our US DC: Handy Network--

Maintenance will be conducted Monday-Friday, January 25-29 10:00PM - 2:00AM nightly.

Handy Networks LLC is proud to announce the complete upgrade of our core network infrastructure. Our new core infrastructure is based on Cisco’s Virtual Switching System 1440, the flagship of the Cisco Catalyst 6500 platform. The deployment of this infrastructure will result in several significant enhancements for our customers:

* Increased network redundancy and reduced time for network failover.
* Increased network capacity, up to 1,440Gbps
* Support for Ten Gigabit ports
* Full native support for IPv6
* Support for ever expanding BGP routing table, up to one million routes

Over the course of the coming weeks, we will be migrating all of our customer access switches, transport and transit circuits to our new core infrastructure. We will begin by moving all of our customer access switches starting Monday, January 25, 2010 at 10:00PM MST through 2:00AM MST and continuing on this schedule through Friday, January 29, 2010. While we have spent considerable time devising a procedure that minimizes customer impact, all customers will experience a series of brief 5-10 minute outages when the particular customer access switch that services their equipment is moved to our new core network infrastructure. Once we complete this work, we will schedule additional maintenance windows to move our transit and transport circuits to the new infrastructure.

For Windows premium shared hosting customers, the servers that provide these services are distributed through our data center and will have short interruptions in service on through the entire week.
