1) How can order for web hosting with domain name?

Ans) Click on order button of web hosting plan you want to buy and select the first option "I want HostIcon.com to register a new domain for me."

 

2) How can order for only web hosting if I already have domain registered somewhere else OR with HostIcon?

Ans) Click on order button of web hosting plan you want to buy and select the 3rd option "I will update my name servers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain."

 

3) How can I register domain name only?

Ans) Click on "Domains" link from top menu or footer link , search for domain availability , if available then proceed to checkout and make payment to register.

 

4) How can I upgrade or downgrade my web hosting plan?

Ans) Login to your client area from http://www.hosticon.com/client and then click on "My services" from Services menu. You will see shortcut arrow button next to "View details".  OR click on "View details"  button of your plan. Under the management Action  you will see "Upgrade / downgrade" button to proceed.

 

5) How can I change my web hosting plan?

Ans) To change your plan from windows to Linux or Small plans to windows big plan you need to change server. For this first you have to order for new hosting plan from our website and transfer your data (files and database) to new hosting account then change the name servers. Confirm everything is okay and then cancel your old hosting account to avoid double billing.

 

6) How can I cancel my web hosting account?

Ans) Login to your client area from http://www.hosticon.com/client and then click on "My services" from Services menu. You will see arrow shortcut button next  "View details" OR click on "View details" button of your plan. Under the Management Action you will see request cancellation button to proceed your cancellation.

 

7) How can I make renewal payment?

Ans) Your renewal invoice will be generated automatically before 30 days of expiry date and will be sent to your email. You can renew your order by pay to that invoice from login to client area http://www.hosticon.com/client

 

8) What is grace period of my web hosting account after date of expire?

Ans) There is 3 days of grade period there after your account will be suspended. After 30 days of expiry your hosting account will be permanently terminated from our server.

 

9) What is renewal grace period of my domain name?

Ans) Different TLDs have different days of grace period. Normally GTLDs like .com , .net .org have 40 days of grace period after the date of expiry. You can read more about it from http://47530.myorderbox.com/kb/servlet/KBServlet/faq601.html
